Overcoming the “Crawled – Currently Not Indexed” Dilemma: Seeking Solutions Beyond Technical Issues
As a website owner or digital marketer, you’re likely familiar with the frustration of seeing your pages stuck in the “Crawled – currently not indexed” status in Google Search Console (GSC). I find myself facing this challenge, with approximately 90 pages falling into this category, and it’s a perplexing situation given there are no apparent technical issues with my site.
Upon utilizing GSC’s “Test Live URL” feature, everything checks out: the pages are eligible for indexing, there are no noindex
directives in place, and my robots.txt
file is correctly configured, allowing Google to access and fetch these pages without hindrance. Additionally, my sitemap is submitted and appears to be functioning properly.
With all the technical aspects seemingly in order, I am left questioning what other factors might be influencing this indexing issue. Could it be related to the quality of the content on these pages? Is there something I’ve overlooked that may be holding back their indexing status?
I am reaching out to the community for insights. Has anyone else encountered a similar situation and successfully navigated through it? Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated as I work on resolving this indexing conundrum. Your expertise could be invaluable in shedding light on possible solutions!
