Exploring Webflow’s Native Localization: A Viable Alternative to Weglot?

Hello, fellow web developers!

I hope this post finds you well! I’m reaching out to share my experience with a recent project and to gather insights from this community regarding a challenging localization issue I’m currently facing.

I recently completed a moderately complex website for a client, utilizing Weglot for both English and a Right-To-Left (RTL) language version aimed at the Middle Eastern audience. Unfortunately, both my client and I have encountered difficulties with Weglot’s functionality, prompting me to consider a transition to Webflow’s native localization features.

The website comprises eight distinct pages, along with two forms, and I’m now weighing the pros and cons of making this switch.

I have a couple of questions for anyone who has ventured down this path:

  1. Experience with Webflow’s Native Localization: Have you utilized Webflow’s built-in localization features? If so, how satisfied were you with the results compared to Weglot?

  2. Cost Estimation for Migration: For those who have migrated localization systems before, what pricing structure would you recommend? Specifically, how much should one charge per page for this kind of migration?

I appreciate any insights or advice you might have! Thank you for your assistance as I navigate this decision.
