Navigating Etsy SEO: Seeking Guidance After Three Years of Selling
Hello, fellow creatives!
I hope this post finds you well. I’m reaching out today to gather insights on enhancing my Etsy shop’s SEO strategies. I’ve been operating my Etsy store for about three years now. Initially, it was thriving, but as time has passed, I find myself wanting to elevate this venture from a side hustle to something more significant.
Before diving into specifics, I want to clarify that I’m not looking to hire anyone for this task. My interest in SEO runs deep, and I am eager to learn and grasp the nuances of optimizing my shop independently. Thankfully, I have the time to dedicate to this endeavor.
To provide some context, let me share an example of one of my listings:
Product Title:

In an effort to refine my listings, I explored Etsy using a browser with a VPN, searching for terms like “headphone.” This approach yielded various suggestions, including relevant tags. Additionally, I researched competitors’ products to draw inspiration from their strategies.
I recognize that some of my tags may not be perfectly aligned with my product, but those were the results suggested by Etsy itself. I’ve also made sure to utilize all ten image slots with high-quality visuals and included a video showcasing the product from multiple angles.
Despite these efforts, my listing garnered only 14 views in the past month. While it’s possible that the product itself isn’t appealing, I want to focus on enhancing my SEO before jumping to conclusions about that.
I would greatly appreciate any constructive feedback or direction
