Title: Strategies for Ranking in a Competitive Niche on a Budget
Greetings, readers!
As someone who has recently ventured into the world of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for just over a year, I find myself facing a unique challenge. Currently, I’m managing the SEO for a moving company based in Kuwait. The website is relatively new, having launched about a year ago, and I’ve dedicated the past five months to improving its online presence.
Upon delving into this project, I quickly realized that the moving industry in this region is quite competitive. With more than 40 pages, many of which focus on keyword phrases like “moving company in [area name],” the scope of work is significant.
Here’s a brief overview of the strategies I’ve implemented so far:
- Revamped the user interface of the entire website to enhance the user experience.
- Conducted thorough on-page optimization for each individual page.
- Published 3-5 guest posts monthly to build authority and drive traffic.
- Improved the website’s speed, achieving a score of 90+ on PageSpeed Insights.
- Implemented various additional strategies to bolster SEO.
These efforts yielded noticeable improvements, and I was pleased to share my progress with the client. However, the past couple of months have been a rollercoaster: the keywords are fluctuating, typically landing on the second page of search results.
Given that this is the most competitive project I have undertaken, I find myself at a crossroads. The question looming large in my mind is: what can I do to enhance my ranking without solely relying on acquiring high-quality backlinks, especially considering budget constraints?
I’m eager to explore new tactics that can be executed within my available time frame. If you have any insights or suggestions, I would greatly appreciate hearing from you.
Thanks for reading, and I look forward to your thoughts!
