From Zero to $7,786/Month: My Journey with Amazon Affiliate Websites
Hello everyone!
I’m thrilled to share my journey with you—how I built six successful Amazon affiliate websites from the ground up that collectively generate anywhere from $1,000 to $8,000 each month! In less than eleven months, I studied, implemented, and refined strategies that worked for me, and now I’m here to pass that knowledge along.
In addition to monthly earnings, I’ve discovered that these websites can sell for about 30 times their monthly profits. Just to give you an example, I previously sold one site for $77,000 after it reached a monthly revenue of $3,000. The process was comprehensive, but I’ll do my best to keep it concise while outlining the essential steps. Let’s dive into how I achieved this!
The Concept
The foundation of my strategy was to establish high-quality, niche review websites that deliver valuable information while promoting products through the Amazon affiliate program.
Steps to Build an Amazon Affiliate Website
1. Niche Selection
Start with identifying a niche that is both profitable and manageable. Key criteria include:
– Availability of products to promote on Amazon that have positive reviews.
– An abundance of rankable keywords (think along the lines of “best,” “reviews,” etc.).
– A competitive analysis to determine your potential to excel in that niche.
2. Keyword Research
Compile a robust list of keywords using modifiers like “best,” “reviews,” and “comparison.” Assess their search volume (aim for anything above 500 searches in the U.S.) and competition levels using tools like AHREFs. Organize these keywords into articles that can effectively attract traffic to your site.
3. Link Building Planning
Identify high-traffic articles in your niche and analyze their backlinks. Write superior content on similar topics and utilize the Skyscraper Method to reach out to those who linked to the original article, requesting links to your enhanced version. In my experience, this method yields a conversion rate of about 5%.
4. Strategic Site Planning
Combine your keyword research and link-building strategy into a comprehensive site outline. Categorize relevant keywords and jot down potential content ideas that can be prioritized for link acquisition.
5. Content Strategy and Outsourcing
Refine article outlines focused on ranking and delivering value to readers—always aim
