Navigating a Decline in Organic Traffic: Seeking Guidance

Over the past year, my team and I have encountered an unexpected downturn in organic traffic to our website, which has left us feeling quite perplexed. Despite having our own dedicated in-house SEO team, we primarily concentrate on crafting high-quality content—drawing solely on research rather than Artificial Intelligence tools. We also optimize our web pages for search engine friendliness and engage in a bit of backlinking, albeit with limited expertise in this area.

In the early months of last year, we were thrilled to witness our website’s performance soaring to new heights, attracting approximately 10,000 visitors each month from January to March. This milestone was the culmination of years of diligent effort. However, to our dismay, we have since experienced a substantial decline, losing around 40% of our regular visitors and dropping in rankings.

Particularly concerning are some of my flagship blog posts, which I personally authored. These once high-ranking articles have seen their traffic plummet by nearly 60%. The sudden downturn has left me at a crossroads, unsure of the steps to take for recovery.

As someone operating in the BPO industry, I would greatly appreciate any insights or advice from those who have faced similar challenges. What strategies or tactics have worked for you in revitalizing your organic traffic? Your thoughts and experiences would be invaluable to me during this challenging time.
