As a skilled craftsman specializing in emergency repairs, including plumbing and electrical services, I’ve been managing a WordPress site that features a traditional setup. My website includes a blog section where I share helpful articles focused on advice and preventative tips, as well as dedicated pages for each municipality in my service area, all of which are optimized for local search. Additionally, I take pride in showcasing roughly fifty positive reviews on my Google Business Profile.
However, I’ve recently encountered some challenges. For the past four months, my website’s performance has hit a plateau, resulting in a drop of about ten positions on Google for key search terms. My current metrics show around 300 impressions daily in Search Console, but disappointingly, only 1 to 3 clicks on average each day.
