Caught in a Manual Action Loop? I Need Your Insights

Hello, fellow webmasters and SEO enthusiasts,

I’m reaching out to see if anyone else has encountered a Pure Spam manual action that seems impossible to resolve. I find myself trapped in a 14-month penalty cycle that began following the March 5, 2024 Core Update. Despite my efforts to remedy the situation, I remain in limbo with no signs of recovery.

To provide some context, here’s what I’ve done in hopes of lifting this penalty:

  • Removed all outdated content that might have contributed to the issue.
  • Rebuilt my website from the ground up, starting fresh with a new WordPress installation and creating 26 unique, research-based articles.
  • Carefully followed the guidelines laid out by Google for manual action recovery.

Unfortunately, even after all these efforts, I am considering selling the domain in early 2025, as it now hosts a revamped, AI-supported chatbot with just six legitimate pages. I have submitted five reconsideration requests, each met with the same frustrating response that “spam problems persist.” It hardly seems like my submissions are receiving a genuine review.

One peculiar detail I can’t shake is the timing of these rejection responses, which consistently arrive around 5:28–5:29 PM PKT. This pattern leads me to wonder if an automated filter is hindering a proper evaluation of my site.

I’d love to connect with others who may have similar experiences. Specifically, I’m looking for individuals who have:

  • Received a penalty around March 5, 2024 or another recent core update.
  • Submitted multiple reconsideration requests and either found success or remain stuck.
  • Noticed any patterns regarding the timing of their manual action rejections.

If this resonates with you, I would appreciate it if you could share your experiences, timelines, and any progress (or lack thereof) in recovering from these penalties. It’s crucial for us to understand how widespread this issue might be and to support one another in navigating these challenges. Thank you!
