Navigating Low Google Traffic: Seeking Solutions for My Niche Websites
Hello everyone,
I hope this post finds you well. Today, I’m reaching out to the community for insights into a persistent challenge I’ve encountered with my three individual websites. Each site focuses on a distinct niche: pets, plants, and paints. Despite having no interconnections between them, they’ve all developed a similar pattern regarding their traffic sources.
Currently, the majority of visitors to all three sites are coming from alternative search engines like Bing, DuckDuckGo, and Yahoo, while Google traffic remains negligible. Here are the statistics from the past three months for each site:
- Pets Site: 947 visits from Bing, 638 from DuckDuckGo, 657 from Yahoo—only 36 visits from Google.
- Plants Site: 3,361 visits from Bing, 483 from DuckDuckGo, 478 from Yahoo—just a mere 3 visits from Google.
- Paints Site: 2,366 visits from Bing, 1,328 from DuckDuckGo, 1,029 from Yahoo—only 5 visits from Google.
Given Google’s dominance as a search engine, I am concerned that my sites might be missing out on significant traffic due to a lack of optimization for Google search.
I would greatly appreciate any advice or strategies you could recommend to increase my visibility on Google without jeopardizing the traffic I currently receive from other search engines.
Your insights and suggestions would be invaluable as I work to enhance my online presence.
Thank you in advance for your assistance!
