Troubleshooting SEO: Why Our New Domain Isn’t Ranking for Branded Searches
In the ever-evolving world of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), navigating the nuances of domain visibility can be a frustrating experience, especially for new businesses. Recently, we launched a new domain—leadtruffle.com—and invested in a fully optimized landing page to enhance our online presence. While we have successfully indexed the site when searching for the domain itself, we face a perplexing problem: our brand name, “Lead Truffle,” fails to appear in search results.
When searching directly for our domain, leadtruffle.com, the website appears without issue, and we can see it indexed properly. However, when potential clients or users search for our company name—either as “Lead Truffle” or “lead truffle”—the only results that surface are links to my personal social media profiles, such as Twitter, LinkedIn, and Reddit. This situation leaves us scratching our heads, as it’s counterproductive to our branding efforts.
To enhance our website’s credibility, we’ve also accumulated a fair number of quality backlinks and taken proactive measures to disavow spammy links from previous ownership. Despite these efforts, we find ourselves frustrated by the lack of visibility for our branded queries.
If you’ve faced a similar issue or have any insights into potential strategies we could implement to improve our visibility for branded searches, we would greatly appreciate your input. Here are a few questions we’re considering:
- Have you encountered challenges with branded search visibility for a new domain?
- What specific SEO techniques have you found effective in improving brand name rankings?
- Are there any tools or resources that could help us identify what’s holding back our branded search results?
We’re eager to hear your thoughts and suggestions on how to tackle this issue effectively. Thank you for your support as we work towards establishing a strong online presence for Lead Truffle!
