Seeking Help to Boost Our Website Traffic: A Small Business Dilemma
Hello everyone,
I find myself turning to this community in an effort to seek guidance. Three years ago, I launched my business specializing in custom gaming PCs in the UK. After a year devoted to website development, we officially went live two years ago. Since then, we’ve invested significantly in SEO services from multiple companies, but unfortunately, our online presence remains a struggle.
Despite the money and effort we’ve poured into our digital marketing, our website traffic has been dismally low, averaging just 2 to 5 visitors daily—sometimes even none at all. This is particularly disheartening given that we offer competitive pricing, free delivery, and various unique selling points that should attract potential customers.
While it’s true that when we do get visitors, our conversion rate pleasantly surprises us, the catch is simply drawing more people to the site. My team and I are quite new to SEO, and although I’ve learned a fair bit over these last two years, I suspect we may have been taken advantage of by the SEO firms we hired, costing us around £6,000—an amount that might seem modest to some, but is quite substantial for a fledgling business like ours.
Utilizing tools such as Ahrefs indicates that we have a Domain Rating of 17 and a URL Rating of 29, while Semrush gives us an authority score of only 16. These metrics are certainly not inspiring, and they leave me unsure of how to proceed. Our available budget is limited, yet we desperately need to amplify our traffic to prevent further financial strain.
I am reaching out to this knowledgeable community for insights and actionable strategies that could help us improve our online visibility. If any SEO experts could share advice or recommend effective practices, I would greatly appreciate it!
Thank you in advance for your support!
Best,
